Programs

CLEER offers a wide variety of programming for traditional or homeschooled students, youth groups, afterschool clubs, families, and adults, utilizing both our Education Lab, our Science on a Sphere system, and our Research Vessel.

Community Programs

During the school year, CLEER offers FREE Science Sundays from 1-3pm. You can find our current Science Sunday listing here.

During the month of October, teams of 2-6 are invited to try to save our lake from an eerie fate by solving our Escape Room puzzles and staving off the evil Dr. C. Lamprey! Escape Room runs Thursdays through Sundays during the whole month of October. $30 per person with $5 off if you are a library card holder!

Pricing

  • CLEER Lab Programs: $7.50 per person per programming hour
  • Ship-and-Shore Programs: $50 per person (includes 4-hour vessel time and 2-hours in the lab) *coming soon!
  • On-the-Road: CLEER staff can bring programming to you for additional fees. to learn more.

Pennsylvania STEELS Standards Alignment

CLEER programs are designed to support Pennsylvania’s Science, Technology & Engineering, Environmental Literacy & Sustainability (STEELS) standards through hands-on, place-based learning.
