Audition Requirements

Perform a 45-60 second Shakespearean monologue

Be prepared to perform cold readings

Casting Note

The Schuster Theatre is committed to casting with integrity, sensitivity, and care. We intend to honor the themes of the text and intentions of the playwright, and as such are seeking a diverse cast with Black performers in the roles of Othello and Cassio. All other roles may be played by any race. All ages, genders, and abilities are welcome. BIPOC performers, newcomers, students, community members, and those with any level of experience are encouraged to audition.

All roles will be paid via stipend

Rehearsals will take place in the evening at Schuster Theatre until production week
