Expected Arrival Dates

If you plan to live off campus, we recommend you arrive at least one week before August 24th to settle your housing arrangements.

If you plan to live on campus, we recommend you arrive no earlier than August 17th.

Orientation Schedule

Please refer to the ESL and Academic schedules below. These are MANDATORY, and they will begin on time. If orientation starts at 9:00 a.m., you must be there before 9:00 a.m. because we will start at 9:00 a.m.

ESL Students

The events below are all MANDATORY for all new ESL students. You MUST attend each one.

English Language Placement Exam
Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in Beyer Hall 4th Floor Lobby from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Check-In 
Thursday, August 20, 2026, in Beyer Hall 2nd Floor Lobby from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

New ESL Student Orientation 
Friday, August 21, 2026, in Beyer Hall 405 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Resource Fair
An opportunity for new students to meet and see the different resources available to you on campus.

All ESL Student Orientation

Convocation Ceremony
Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in the Highmark Events Center from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The earliest a new student who has applied to live on-campus in one of the dormitories can move in is August 17, 2026.
