Gannon University issues four types of digital credentials: course-based credentials, which recognize successful course completion; assignment-based credentials, which recognize demonstrated proficiency on a specific assessed project or assignment; micro-credentials, which recognize a defined cluster of competencies earned across a sequence of courses; and stacked competency credentials, which are issued automatically when a learner earns all credentials in a designated pathway.
Credentials are organized by school and program with designations for achievement levels (foundational, proficient, or advanced) and stackable options identified for each. Credential offerings are beginning with the School of Engineering and Computing and the Applied Intelligence program in the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. Look for additional offerings across the spectrum of University academic areas in the coming terms.
Gannon University issues digital credentials across a range of programs, disciplines, and achievement levels. Each credential in this catalog includes a description of what was learned, the requirements for earning it, and the specific skills it represents.
