Gannon University’s aviation and business management program recently earned Part 141 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), marking a significant milestone as the program expands its FAA-recognized aviation training opportunities.

Achieved through a partnership with Fundamentals Flight Training, the certification confirms that the university’s flight training environment, curriculum, facilities and instructors meet FAA standards for professional pilot education.

With Part 141 certification in place, 名媛直播 can now work with the FAA to obtain letters of authorization for the program’s individual ground training courses. As approvals are received, qualifying courses will provide FAA-recognized training credit toward pilot certification. This can enhance the value of the program by allowing eligible students to meet certain pilot certification requirements with fewer flight hours than may be required under other training pathways.

As additional FAA approvals are received, the program will continue to expand, providing students with an increasingly comprehensive pathway from the classroom to the flight deck.

“This milestone reflects Gannon University’s commitment to preparing the next generation of aviation professionals through innovation, academic excellence and strong industry partnerships,” said Walter Iwanenko, Ph.D., president of Gannon University. “Our collaboration with Fundamentals Flight Training has enabled us to build a program that meets the FAA’s rigorous Part 141 standards, provides students with a direct pathway toward successful careers in aviation and further invests in community assets like our own regional airport.”

Gannon University launched its aviation and business management program in partnership with Fundamentals Flight Training in fall 2024. By combining aviation training with a strong business education, the program prepares graduates with technical flying skills, professional judgment and leadership experience valued throughout the aviation industry.
