Through a partnership with Glacier Scalp Cooling LLC, founded by 名媛直播 alumni Justo Hernandez and Evan Fisler, 名媛直播 biomedical engineering students are helping develop a lightweight, portable scalp cooling system designed to help patients manage chemotherapy-related hair loss beyond the infusion center.

Working alongside faculty and the Erie-based company and with support from the Manufacturing PA Innovation Program, students are helping refine the device’s design, explore custom-fitted, 3D-printed cooling caps and address challenges related to comfort, portability and performance.

This collaboration brings classroom learning into the real world, giving students valuable industry experience while advancing technology that could improve access to scalp cooling treatment for patients.
