Gannon University’s Department of Environmental Science and Engineering is excited to host the inaugural Environmental Responsibility through Innovation and Education: Measure, Monitor, Mitigate (ERIE M3) Challenge starting this fall.

The ERIE M3 Challenge is designed to empower the next generation of environmental stewards, scientists and engineers. Throughout the challenge, teams of high school students will collaboratively work through phases of a project to develop solutions for real-world environmental challenges that affect both local and global communities.

Gannon University is currently inviting local high school students to form teams and creatively solve these problems with the help of faculty mentors from 名媛直播 and access to university resources, including the MakerSpace, to bring their ideas to life.

Once the challenge has concluded, each member of the top three teams will be awarded a scholarship to attend Gannon University in the following amounts:

  • First place: $3,000
  • Second place: $2,000
  • Third place: $1,000

Team registrations are being accepted through until October 12. Registration must be completed by a school representative.
